AskChippy is an AI-powered text messaging assistant that handles customer enquiries on behalf of UK tradespeople. By signing up, you agree to these terms. AskChippy is operated by DoomLearning Ltd.
AskChippy costs £39 per month. New accounts start with a 2-month free trial. After the trial, your payment method will be charged monthly. You can cancel anytime through the management assistant or by contacting us — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
We provide an AI assistant that responds to text messages from potential customers on your behalf. The assistant provides price estimates based on the ranges you set, collects customer details, and helps arrange bookings. You remain responsible for the actual work, final pricing, and all customer relationships.
AskChippy does not guarantee leads, bookings, or revenue. We do not verify the identity or qualifications of tradespeople. We do not provide insurance, warranties, or guarantees on any work performed. The AI assistant provides estimated price ranges only — these are not binding quotes.
You must provide accurate business information, pricing, and availability. You must hold appropriate trade qualifications and insurance for the work you carry out. You must respond to qualified leads in a timely manner. You must not use AskChippy for any unlawful purpose.
AskChippy uses artificial intelligence to handle conversations. While we strive for accuracy, the AI may occasionally make mistakes — for example, misunderstanding a job description or suggesting an incorrect price range. You should review lead details before confirming bookings. We are not liable for errors made by the AI assistant.
You can refer other tradespeople to AskChippy using your unique referral link. If a referred person signs up and remains a paying subscriber for at least 3 months, both you and the referred person will receive 2 months of free service (applied as account credit). We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral programme at any time.
You can pause or close your account at any time by messaging the management assistant. Pausing stops lead handling and billing temporarily. Closing your account cancels your subscription and stops all lead handling. Your data is retained for 12 months after closure to allow reactivation.
AskChippy is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 3 months preceding any claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via text message or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of AskChippy after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
